First off, we need to enact bold changes for our state. There will be a lot of important events that will occur within the next decade, and we cannot afford to continue acting as if everything will sort itself out through outside intervention. We need to prepare ourselves for the future, instead of lagging behind as our state tries to catch up.

Secondly, one of the most corrosive elements of the politics of our state, as well as our country, is that big corporations and wealthy donors are constantly above the law. I will fight back against these groups in order to truly bring justice for all of us here in Michigan.

Finally, I want to do what I can to restore faith in the political process. People across the state, and country, have grown more frustrated and angry with the political process. These factors have led to the rise of demagogues and grifters who take advantage of the negativity to line their own pockets while stroking the flame that divides us. While I obviously cannot fix this problem on my own, even within the 52nd district, I will poison the well any further during my campaign.
